Geführtes Trekking auf der Lemosho-Route des Kilimandscharo

The Lemosho Route is widely regarded as one of Kilimanjaro’s most scenic, rewarding, and successful trekking paths. Stretching across western slopes, it offers an extended approach, allowing trekkers to enjoy diverse ecosystems, breathtaking vistas, and gradual acclimatization, which increases the likelihood of reaching the summit.

This route takes you through dense rainforest, progressing into heath and moorlands dotted with giant lobelias and groundsels, followed by the alpine desert zone, where stark volcanic terrain meets dramatic glaciers. The 8-Day itinerary allows for extra acclimatization, reducing fatigue and providing the opportunity for optional side hikes and photography stops, whereas the 7-Day itinerary is slightly faster-paced but still allows for a rewarding and achievable summit experience.

Trekking the Lemosho Route gives climbers the chance to experience pristine wilderness, spectacular mountain panoramas, and unique wildlife sightings. The route’s gradual ascent ensures a more comfortable journey, while summit day delivers a life-changing sunrise from Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point. Beyond the physical challenge, this trek is a journey through one of the continent’s most iconic landscapes, leaving lasting memories of adventure, resilience, and natural beauty.
